Chick-fil-A is set to open a new restaurant in Bradenton’s Heritage Harbour, according to recent reports. The new location will be situated in the Marketplace at Heritage Harbour shopping plaza, near Interstate 75.
The exact opening date for the Heritage Harbour Chick-fil-A has not yet been announced. Building records indicate the restaurant will occupy over 4,800 square feet on the eastern side of the plaza and will feature a drive-thru.
The Marketplace at Heritage Harbour is a developing shopping center that has seen several new tenants arrive in recent years, including Costco, Target, Miller’s Ale House, and LongHorn Steakhouse. Other planned future tenants for the plaza include Whole Foods, Cold Stone Creamery, and Qdoba Mexican Eats.
This expansion marks another addition to Chick-fil-A’s growing presence in Manatee County. The chain currently operates five locations within the county. Its most recent opening was in May in the Bayshore Gardens shopping center. Another Chick-fil-A is also planned for Parrish.
Chick-fil-A was founded in 1967 by S. Truett Cathy and has grown to include over 3,000 restaurants across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. The company is known for its chicken sandwiches, waffle fries, and other menu items, and operates Monday through Saturday.
